Shoshana Feldman
Senior Director, Dept. of Professional Practice
Shoshana Feldman is the Senior Director in KPMG LLP’s Department of Professional Practice where she provides technical accounting support to the firm’s operating offices and their clients and develops firm positions and training on accounting and audit-related matters.
Prior to joining the Department of Professional Practice in 2014, Shoshana primarily served clients in the New York City audit practice, concentrating on clients in the Technology, Media, and Telecommunications line of business providing financial statement audit and audit of internal control services.
Shoshana has provided professional audit services to both public and private companies primarily in the services, telecommunications, technology, and retail industries, Shoshana’s in-depth experience includes – global clients that have been subject to accounting and reporting rules and regulations of the SEC, including Sarbanes-Oxley 404, experience in coordinating part of a global audit with international KPMG offices for a multinational publicly traded company, resolving issues regarding business combinations and purchase price allocations, helping to coordinate execution of Sarbanes-Oxley 404 compliance including testing the design and operation of key controls, as well as substantive audit procedures and supervising staff in the field and working with the client service team to establish the audit plan, execute fieldwork, and report audit results in a timely and efficient manner.
Shoshana is active in KPMG’s Network of Women Parents in the KNOW taskforce.
Shoshana initially joined the New York office in 2007 after graduating from Yeshiva University with a BS in Accounting. She is a CPA in the state of New York and is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the New York State Society of Certified Public Accountants.
