Hershell Cavin

Hershell is a partner in the KPMG Department of Professional Practice (DPP). Hershell has approximately 30 years (including 19 years as a partner) of experience in the audit practice, serving both public and private clients in the Chemicals, Energy and Natural Resources, and Construction Industry groups. He has significant experience in coordinating audit engagements for large and middle market multinational public and private companies in the construction, industrial manufacturing (including refining and chemical), and energy industries, and his client service experience has involved complex audit engagements which require coordination of large engagement teams from other KPMG offices. Hershell also has broad experience in Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) matters, including business combinations, preparation and review of pro forma financial statements, initial public offerings, carve-out financial statements, and related 33 Act and 34 Act filings and has served as an SEC Reviewing Partner, responsible for the technical review of client filings with the SEC.
