The industry is now endeavouring to use innovative approaches to meet the renewed high demand better than ever before.

In view of the growing awareness of climate change and the environmental impact of air travel, airlines, as well as manufacturers, air traffic control and fuel producers, are under considerable pressure to develop resource-saving solutions. This includes the reduction of greenhouse gas emissions, the use of alternative fuels and the development of more efficient aircraft technologies.
